Bicentennial of Congress 

This is the fourth and final COLLINS Cover of a set that I think came out very well. For the Bicentennial of the Senate I chose to remember Daniel Webster -- the famous Senator from Massachusetts. The hand-painted cachet shows Webster debating the famous Dartmouth College case. As in the other three covers, the Senator is also presented in an oval portrait.

In addition to the new Senate Bicentennial stamp, I've also affixed the six-cent Daniel Webster stamp from 1969. Both stamps are tied to the cover with a very nice "eagle and shield" First Day slogan postmark.
