1992 DELAWARE

Shimmering water reflecting the sun's golden glow provides the coastal setting for this MILFORD handpainted First Day Cover. A trio of shovelers fly over an inlet while a solitarty hen huddles on the rocky shore. Channel markers provide a bit of area flavor and the multi-colored sky casts a sense of warmth and tranquility.

There were 210 covers produced for this stamp. A large Dover bullseye provides the Day of Issue postmark.
