1992 COLORADO

A pair of pintail ducks pause to refresh themselves in this hand-painted cachet. Cold, clear water flows from the Rocky Mountains and both ducks stand on rocks mid-stream. The male sips a drink with his mate watching and waiting her turn. In the background, golden aspen trees shimmer in the autumn air with forests of evergreens beyond.

Stamp serial numbers used on this issue were 10501

through 10710 except for 570 and 677. The stamps are

postmarked at Fort Co1lins.
