This stamp issue was an interesting one - featuring art glass, free-blown glass, mold-blown glass, and pressed glass. I did think there was a little too much sameness in the stamp designs, so I was determined that my hand painted cachets should provide variety and collector appeal. Glass figurines of animals proved to be an excellent way to ensure that these FDCs will always be sought-after collectibles.

The four groupings I chose are all favorite topical subjects. Cats, elephants, birds, and horses will provide a colorful and interesting set of glass figurine cachets. To start off, I'm happy to present my cats cachet. It's a grouping of five, and each is a different color done in watercolors. The visual effect is really stunning, and I know that you will be very happy to add this one to your collection.
