An adorable red-furred Douglas squirrel tests the edibility of an acorn in this edition of my Rain Forest set. Standing on a carpet of colorful oak leaves, the squirrel remains vigilant as it nibbles on the nut. Adding much appeal to this hand painted wildlife cachet art is the large soft tail which is curled up in a fuzzy ball. A large cone, having dropped from a nearby pine tree, adds interest and perspective to the scene.
