Colombia is known for producing mild, well-balanced coffee beans. It is the third most productive in the world behind Brazil and Vietnam with a harvest of 11.5 miliion bags per year. The earliest recorded presence of coffee in Colombia was in 1730 at the Saint Teresa Mission by Father Jose Ganrilla.

My individually hand painted cachet depicts a coffee worker at harvest time. He has his burro loaded with bundles of freshly picked beans. It's a very descriptive cachet and captures the flavor of coffee in Colombia.
