1990 CANADA

This First Day Cover is an important one as it is the first MILFORD Canada Duck.

Stamps used were the beautiful 1952 Blue Canadian Goose and the thirty-nine cent Maple Leaf Flag stamp. The title of this year's Duck stamp is "Wood Ducks Spring Mist".

The hand-painted cachet depicts a Woody establishing a perch overlooking a vista of an Island filled waterway. The design captures the spirit and vastness of the Canadian wilderness. 291 covers were produced for this issue.
