Collins Cover Announcement 

WOLF TRAP FARM

For this issue which is dedicated to the Performing Arts, an entirely different COLLINS cachet was created. An original pen and ink drawing featuring the traditional drama masks of comedy and tragedy was individually done on each cover and then the drawing was hand painted on each. This cachet is totally different from my usual style and is presented with my philosophy of occasionally producing a "change of pace" such as the Vietnam photo and the Bobby Jones entire. This cover will fit that mold of "something different", and it represents the free spirit attitude of the arts. The lettering as well as the design is hand drawn and as such this 100% hand done cachet should find a spot in your collection.

A single stamp is officially hand canceled "First Day of Issue" at Vienna, Virginia. For my unofficial I chose Englishtown, N.J. and an additional single is unofficially hand canceled there. This unofficial was chosen to represent the greatest of English dramatists, William Shakespeare. Item No. V501 - $5.50
