The coloring of my hand-painted cachet coordinates nicely with that of the stamp. A green-winged teal huddles on the grassy bank of a meadow watering hole. In the pasture beyond, four frisky horses enjoy their morning exercise. A golden glow from the early sun bathes the scene.

A fine First Day cancel was obtained from the post office at Goose Rock. Serial numbers used were 20801 to 21100 except for 20914.
