A pair of lesser scaup ducks flies over the Wichita Mountain National Wildlife Refugee in this hand-painted cachet. The purple head of the male with golden eye makes this species easy to recognize.
The Day of Issue postmark is from Oklahoma City. There were 210 covers produced for this stamp.
