A stately antebellum plantation house provides a backkdrop for this cachet. With the columned mansion set back from water's edge by a buffer of wide lawns and tall oaks, it is truly a "Heart of Dixie" setting for a pair of cinnamon teal. The ducks swim placidly on rippling blue water.

The stamps are canceled at the Montgomery, Alabama Downtown Station. Serial numbers used were 12501 through 12700.
