1992 NEW MEXICO

This is the final MILFORD Cover for 1992 and a spirited widgeon in the hand-painted cachet. The duck is very alert and swims amid a beautiful blending of southwest landscape colors. It should also be noted that this cover marks the final appearance of the 29-cent woodduck stamp on the 1992 MILFORD series. This stamp with red and black text varieties was the perfect postal component for duck stamp covers.

Serial numbers used were 7421 to 7620 except for 424, 492 , and 582.
