A wonderful pictorial First Day postmark ties the fifteen dollar MigratoryBird stamp to the cover. It was applied at the Duck Stamp Station in Washington, D.C. A proud mama mallard takes her brood of downy ducklings for a swim in the garden pool. Collectors should note the careful planning of stamp and cancellation placement and how they visually interact with the "wrap-around" fuII envelope cachet. This lovely MILFORD will forever be a very scarce "Duck" First Day Cover within the hobby.
