1996 VERMONT

An alert bobcat, crouched on a downed tree trunk, stares wistfully at a male scaup as it swims nearby. A cascading Vermont stream in the Green Mountains is the setting for this handpainted MILFORD. Note the small waterfall, foaming bubbles, and surface ripples all giving the illusion of motion in the fast-moving water. Also note the turning fall foliage which announces the beginning of the blazing and beautiful New England autumn.
