This issue honors the first President of the Congress and a single is hand canceled "First Day of Issue" at Frederick, Maryland. For the unofficial I chose a symbolic cancel that will serve to remind collectors of the beginning of the Revolutionary Era, Bunker Hill, W.V. An additional single has this hand cancel. The hand-painted cachet is an oval portrait with a name scroll beneath - the colors compliment those in the stamp extremely well. Item #R401 - $5.50
