Secaucus is a trucking staging area and a terminal location for many transportation companies. It serves New York City, Newark, and the port cities of the lower Hudson River. The city is also a hub for many inter-state highways making it a natural site for the tractor trailer trucking industry.

My hand-painted cachet takes into account that New Jersey is the "Garden State". Since Colonial times, it has been a produce provider for New York and the other great eastern cities. From the fields, farms, and gardens of New Jersey a wonderful array of vegetables and fruits (most notablly sweet corn and Jersey tomatoes) stock regional markets.

My hand-painted cachet pulls all of the above together as a truck of "farm fresh produce" travels a country lane. It is late summer -- harvest time -- and the farmland of Northwest Jersey is visible in the background as the tractor trailer heads to market with its bounty from the soil. Item #W1801. $8.50.
