"Muddler Minnow Fly"

A rushing mountain stream cascades over rocks and boulders in a springtime torrent. A beautiful brook trout leaps entirely out of the churning water as it attempts to surmount a small waterfall. Perched above on a fragile branch, a colorfully plumed kingfisher placidly takes in the turbulent scene only inches below his dry observation post. This hand-painted cachet captures the feeling of rushing water, and you'll almost think that you are sitting on a stream-side rock enjoying the moment. Your senses take over: the feel of the cool, wet spray; the sound of the mountain rapids; the aromic smell of the spring vegetation; and, most dramatically, the leaping splendor of the free and wild brook trout.
