This COLLINS Christmas FDC brings the warmth of Santa Claus into your collecion. The jolly old fellow works in front of a roaring fire with stockings hanging from the mantle and gifts piled on the hearth. Behind Santa stands a decorated tree. He makes quite a sight with full white beard, "cheeks like roses, a nose like a cherry", an over-flowing sack on his back, and the familiar red and white suit.

The two stamps having their issuance date on this cover are the one with Santa at the top of the chimney and the one with him at the bottom of the chimney. They complement very nicely the hand-painted "entire" cachet.
