Dinosaurs
Edmontonia & Einiosaurus
Important Notice
An exciting Collins set of nine vibrant covers containing all 15 of the new Dinosaur stamps. This is an experimental offering which will enable collectors to complete a Collins set over a relatively short time without usual long delays or monthly payments. An early sell-out is anticipated.
World of the Dinosaurs
Rather than stretch this set out over an extended period with monthly payments, I've decided to try offering it in the regular ordering procedure. Starting with these two Dinosaur covers, I'll be offering the full set one or two items at a time until complete. The cachets are superb and the watercolors bring the prehistoric creatures and their environments "alive" in vivid detail. Don't miss this opportunity to have the Collins "World of the Dinosaurs" set in your collection. Start with these two and then add one or two as offered. As time goes on, you'll be very happy to have them in your FDC holdings. Many other cachetmakers skip the sets and, as a result, very few handpainted ones exist. This is very good news for Collins collectors because they end up with highly sought items with excellent market potential. I think you'll like very much completing this set quickly over the next few months, and I know you'll love the cachets. I expect a fast sell-out, but once you start, you are guaranteed the full set of nine. Acquire them now at original prices. The Collins FDCs for "The World of the Dinosaurs."
Collins Cover Announcement
The World Of Dinosaurse
Einiosaurus and Edmontonia
Parasaurolophus and Palaeosaniwa
These two covers continue my Dinosaur set, and each has two of the stamps with First Day postmarks. The hand painting on both of these cachets is superb, and I am delighted with the way this set is taking shape. Without question, it will be "Best of Issue" by any cachetmaker.
Preparing for battle, the unusual homed Einiosaurus finds itself alone and away from the herd in which it usually travels. The opposing Edmontonia is ready to charge and is a formidable fighter with thick layers cf body armor and numerous pointed spikes.
In the second cachet, a Hadrosaur Dinosaur called a Parasaurolophus approaches a small pool fed by a forest brook. The long, back-sloping headcrest is a distinguishing feature. Quietly watching is a Varanid Lizard called a Palaeosaniwa. Two superb Collins Dinosaur covers with two stamps on each. Item #s are L2706 and L2708. $12.25 each.
