This cover is the fourth and final cover in my Tropical Bird set of four. It's the Green-throated Carib, and the bluish-green cast of its delicate plumage makes it a truly beautiful bird. Hand painting makes it possible to get just the right color shading. The Carib is found on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico and has also been sighted in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
