The delicate and richly colored hand painted cachet on this cover is based on the detail of a Gozzoli Fresco in Florence's Medici Palace. It's from the Fifteenth Century which is the same time period as the stamp. The Madonna and child on the stamp is a terracotta piece and was also created in Florence.

Each of the three angels in my cachet is attired in different colors, and the watercolor art makes it an excellent piece for your collection. The 1998 Christmas Traditional First Day Cover with a pleasing rendition of 15th Century art. Item 162901 - $12.25.
