Cover Announcement 

This hand painted cachet captures the excitement and daring of the extreme sport of snowboard. As the

athlete makes his descent down the wintry slope, bits of snow fly in all directions. As with the other sports in this four stamp mini-set, it is an event of high speed and daring maneuvers. Paints used are very vivid with a large dose of artistic license added to the mix. The resulting cachets are very colorful and eye-catching.

As with the previous two announced covers in this set, the stamp is tied to the envelope with the "extremely" large bullseye First Day postmark obtained exclusively for Collins covers. You will not find this huge postmark anywhere eise, and I think it adds a fine philatelic presence to this issue.
