This is the 3S-cent companion issue to the Verville stamp, and it honors two other prominent aviation pioneers. This "entire" cachet shows an early aircraft cruising above the clouds. A truly nice altitude effect is achieved by showing a "patch-work" of multi-colored cultivated fields below. This is a very nice airmail FDC.
