This cover represents the perfect example of the "entire" cachet concept. The design fits the envellope surface to the fullest leaving just enough room for the stamp and the Washington, D.C. bullseye cancel. You will like very much this design -- the small brick Florida school where this early Black educator started. Palm trees and coastline give the cachet a Florida flavor -- while Mary stands in the foreground -- her white hair and cranberry colored dress contrasting sharply with the bright colors behind her.

This cachet is hard to describe in words, but I recommend it.

It definitely has visual appeal, and I would suspect that this COLLINS is the best for this issue. Item #K901 - $7.50.
