Lot 30 G3201 — Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner — 4/26/2000

This was one of the Warner Bros. cartoon issues, and it really sold out quickly. The hand painted cachet shows the swift Roadrunner running across the Southwest Desert with a cover in his beak. He is taunting Wile E. Coyote who is in pursuit because the envelope he holds is addressed to his long-time adversary. The watercolors are very vivid, and the cachet is done in the cartoon style. It's a great cover and is hard to find.
