A Beautiful "Woodland Theme"

This year's Federal Duck Stamp is truly a lovely rendition of a migratory waterfowl. It shows a mottled duck poised to take off from a sun-dappled pond. The colors are amazing, and this is truly a worthy example of "duck art" at its finest.

For my hand painted cachet, I decided to expand on the woodland theme established by the stamp. Just as collectors loved last year's polar bear Arctic theme, this year's, in my opinion, will be even better as I include various woodland creatures to complement the beautiful mottled duck.
