Lot 18 Q3201 —$11.75 High Value Circular Hologram Space Achievement and Exploration World Stamp Exposition — 7/7/2000

This highly desirable, unusual, and large stamp has a silver dollar sized circular hologram at the center. It is surrounded by a star-filled black band representing the universe. Finally, the black band is encompassed in a green border. This stamp goes from top to bottom on the envelope and takes up about sixty percent of the surface. Its size and composition are awesome. It is tied to the cover with the first day of issue slogan postmark from Anaheim, California — site of the Stamp Expo. My hand painted cachet provides a top view looking down at a shuttle launch. The main fuel tank and the two booster tanks are prominent as is the attached shuttle. The blast-off trail of fire is visible below as "lift-off" occurs. For Collins collectors in general and space topicalists, this cover is magnificent.
