Old World Santas

Multicolor European lithographs from the late 1800s and early 1900s were used as the source artwork for the 2001 Christmas stamps. Created in England and Germany, these classic images further the folklore of the Santa Claus legend. My hand painted cachets for this mini-set of four feature Old World Santas from Germany, Ukraine, France, and England. The watercolors transform the Santas into beautiful Christmas collectibles. I'm pleased to present the first two — Ukraine (X3401) and

Germany (X3404) at $12.25 each.

This offering will complete my Old World Santas mini-set of four. Christmas FDCs are a specialty of many collectors, and Santa Claus items are always in demand. The watercolors bring out a true European Old-World look, and I'm happy to present France (X3402) and England (X3403) at $12.25 each.
