Collins Cover Announcement 

Flag Over Farm

Denominated

The last cover that I did in the 2000 stamp year program was the non-denominated version of the Flag Over Farm stamp. On February 7, 2001, the denominated version was issued, and, since it was in a different stamp year, I decided that it should have a Collins cachet. Whereas the 2000 cover depicted a family farm, I seized upon this opportunity to portray some close-up versions of four of our favorite farm animals. Very cute renditions of a cow, pig, sheep, and chicken make this a very nice hand painted cachet, and a blazing sun above a cultivated field adds a nice touch.
