Lot 33 K3707 — Southeastern Lighthouses (with all 5 stamps) — Subscriber-only edition — 6-13-03

Five unique and distinctive Southeastern Lighthouse stamps were issued in 2003. After producing my regular covers with one stamp on each, I created a very limited-edition cover which was made only for subscribers. This special cover has all five of the lighthouse stamps canceled together on the right, while on the left, a seagull soars past the Bodie Island Light which is located in North Carolina. In the distance, sailboats cruise toward the horizon enjoying the benefit of a strong ocean breeze. The details and setting of the lighthouse are very attractive, and a foreground cluster of flowering blooms provide a wonderful and lofty perspective of the picturesque seascape. Twin bullseye day of issue postmarks tie all five of the attractive lighthouse stamps to the envelope. This is the first time the wonderful cover with five lighthouse stamps has been in one of my mail sales.
