Cover Announcement 

The individually hand painted cachet for this lovely First Day Cover is based on angels found in a Christmas creche by ltalian artist Francesco Celebrano who livred from 1750 to 1800. The watercolors used are based on the actual colors of the original piece, and I must admit that these covers turned out beyond my expectations. The exquisite figurines are made of wood, terracotta, and cloth. Each year, this magnificent work of art is displayed in the Gothic Hall of New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
