Collins Cover Announcement

2006 Lunar New Year Stamps

Year of the Ram

This individually hand painted cover continues my series of close-up cachets. The illustration below shows the fine-line artwork that is used in the composition of this design, but it cannot, of course, convey the superb coloring of the ram and the blossoms behind him. When you hold this First Day over in your hand, I think it will be yet another prime example as to why Collins cachets have achieved such a solid reputation. This is one that speaks_for itself. The Year of the Ram — Collins #R4008 — $13.25.
