Lot 26 P4305 — Tinkerbell — Subscriber-only limited edition 8-16-07

This cover has something special that is a Collins exclusive. The stamp shows Peter Pan with his tiny pixie companion, Tinkerbell. The hand painted cachet shows her flying high above London Bridge and, as a final Collins exclusive touch, I cut out an image of Tinkerbell from the selvage of the stamp sheets and affixed it to the envelope. I then had the Orlando, Florida first day of issue bullseye postmark tie both the stamp and the cut-out image to the envelope. A very desirable Disney cover as it is a limited-edition subscriber-only Collins, and it has the additional image of Tink as an exclusive enhancement.

Lot 29 P4305 — Peter Pan with Tinkerbell — Subscriber-Only Edition (8-16-07)

This subscriber-only limited-edition Disney cover has a marvelous feature. A sheet margin Tinkerbell image was cut out and is tied to the envelope along with the new stamp by the bullseye day of issue postmark. There was only one such image per sheet of the new stamps, and I believe that only Collins covers feature this expressive and lovely Tinkerbell enhancement. Part of the Collins reputation is built on innovative ideas. The hand painted cachet is gorgeous, and it shows a large portrayal of "Tink" flying in a moonlit sky over London Bridge which spans the River Thames. This variety is appearing for the first time in one of my sales, and limited numbers produced and the margin cut-out image make this one a "must have" Collins
