Gary Cooper made over one hundred movies starting in 1925. He was known for his quiet, low-key acting style and his stoic and individualistic personality. He was a perfect actor to cast in the many westerns in which he starred. My hand painted cachet features him as Marshall Will Kane in the 1953 classic High Noon. For this role he won the Best Actor Academy Award.
