This stamp honors one of the greatest American entertainers of all time. From the vaudeville stage to radio to motion pictures to television, Bob Hope brought his comedy to the American public. He was especially dedicated to entertaining American troops deployed across the globe in times of both war and peace.

My individually hand painted cachet includes a portrait of Hope as he appeared during the height of his career. It also has a rendition of a younger Bob with straw hat and bowtie doing a routine from the era of vaudeville. The stamp presents a nice portrait of the star as he looked in the later stages of his career. Thus, the cover does a great job in paying tribute to this entertainment giant who lived beyond his 100th Birthday.
