This setting of this Subscriber-Only Limited-Edition cover is the Oregon coast and shows Meriwether Lewis surveying the ocean with a telescope, William Clark leaning on his rifle, and Sacagawea with her son Pomp on her back. Their faithful Newfoundland dog Seaman stands between the two famous explorers.

The free cover (X4501) offered with the Lewis and Clark cover is still in stock and is called Oregon Statehood — "Along the Oregon Trail." It shows a family headed west in a covered wagon on the Oregon Trail which was one of the main overland migration routes on the North American continent. It started at the Missouri River and ended 2,000 miles later in the Oregon Territory.
