"It Came Upon the Midnight Clear"

This is the fourth year in which my individually hand painted cachet is based upon a traditional Christmas song. Since the new stamp has a musical theme, I thought the lyrics "to touch their harps of gold" would be a very appropriate subject. Two angels hover above the Holy City and strum their harps as beams of light project from the North Star. The new stamp is really based on a wonderful piece of art, and I think the watercolors make this Christmas First Day Cover something special. The first three in this series are still available. Now ready is "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear. " Collins #D4801 at $14.00.
