Cottontail Rabbit - "Snowy Cotton"

Groups of winter cottontails will frequently gather on crusted snow to frolic and play. For this year's Christmas Wildlife cachet (a Collins tradition since 1988), I decided to feature this familiar lovable creature. In my individually hand painted scene, I show three of the furry animals out for a Christmas morning romp. The wildlife rendition is very natural as the rabbits huddle under a snow-laden hemlock tree with open white fields beyond. I'm happy to present this year's watercolored edition to my Christmas Wildlife series. The Cottontail Rabbit —
