Abstract Expressionists

Mark Rothko and Hans Hofmann

This pair of miniature watercolors completes this colorful and exciting set. The unusually large stamps with their dynamic colors provide the foundation that makes this Collins mini-set so different. As for my hand painted cachets, the signature silhouetted New York City skyline across the bottom makes them instantly recognizable and thus instantly highly collectible. Rothko and Hofmann — Collins #L4704 and Gottlieb and Gorky Collins #1,4705 at $14.50 each.
