Dog and Cat Shelter Pets

Set of Ten

Now ready to begin is the set that many of my collectors have inquired about and one that I feel will be a pretty quick sell-out. Dogs and cats are very popular stamps, and the ones in this set of ten are very appealing. To complement them, I wanted the cachet art to be bold but lifelike; realistic but interesting; and natural but warm. I think the resulting cachets have met and exceeded my goals, and I now offer them to you at one per month.

The actual pet renditions are top-notch, and you will love the fine detail and the heart-warming poses that capture the essence of America's pets. To each, I've added but a single object to bring added interest to the scene. A leash awaiting a walk. Comfy pillows. A passing butterfly. A paper bag hideaway. A retrieved tennis ball. A toy mouse. The cachet compositions are "just right" for this set, and I believe these Collins First Day Covers will truly become actively sought treasures in the hobby.
