Monachk Butterfly

Milkweed Butterfly in the Family Nymphalidae

Collins Cover Announcement

Monarch Butterfly - 64¢

For all who enjoy nature and the pure beauty of wild things, you will love this First Day Cover. The cachet design truly demonstrates the hobby term "entire" which refers to a First Day Cover on which the cachet, stamp, and postmark encompass the entire face of the envelope.

Three beautiful butterflies — all hand painted — complement the one on the stamp. Lovely wildflowers with colorful blooms and supporting greenery entwine throughout the scene, providing the fluttering monarchs with sources of nectar. And the title text that is centered within the artwork has lettering that itself lends to the wispy and graceful appearance that butterflies evoke. The entire colorful and pleasing scene is all hand painted on each and every individual cachet. You will love this one.

I'm pleased to offer my monarch butterfly cover for the new 64¢ stamp. Collins #R4701 — $14.25.
