This is the second and final Collins First Day Cover for the new Hot Rods stamps. Previously announced was the black one with side flames depicted on the body, and the car on the. stamp was shown with a rear view. For this one with-the-Hot-Rod-on the stamp-facing-forward-with its-grill-and headlights very prominent, I decided to do a side-view cachet.

The model is a 1932, and my profile of the Ford Deuce Roadster faces left. As with the stamp, the body is a beautiful red color, and the entire cachet is individually hand painted. This is a great companion piece to the black Hot Rod in the two-stamp set. These Collins First Day Covers will be sought not only by future collectors of my cachets but also by transportation and automobile topicalists as well. Be sure to include them both in your collection as they will become hot items within the hobby.
