Eastern Tailed-Blue Butterfly
Known as Everes Comyntas
Horse Pasture Cachet
Cover Announcement
This beautiful butterfly, common to the eastem United States, is also known as the everes comyntas. It is identifiable by the small thin tails, and you can spot them on the two shown in my individually hand painted cachet. Some people mistakenly call it the Easter blue-tailed but in fact, the "tailed-blue" is the proper name.
This species favors the clover blossom, and one has landed and is feeding in a pasture. Another flutters nearby as a group of horses graze in the distance. The lovely Eastern Tailed-Blue Butterfly is now ready. Collins #H5601 - $15.00.
