This is the third cover in my mini-set of four Spookies. They are proving to be very popular with collectors, so don't miss out on adding them to your collection.

A large pumpkin has been carved into a familiar Jack-O-Lantern. How well I remember those days when our five kids would gather around me just prior to Halloween. First, I would cut out a large circular piece that would serve as a lid. A sectlon of the vine about 3 to 4 inches in length would be retained to aid in handling of the top. At this point the seeds and pulp were removed through the top hole, and the children would all help with the sticky, gooey innards.

Firally, I carefully cut out the eyes, nose, and toothy smiling mouth - soliciting suggestions as to shapes and size. A

candle for night illumination in the front yard would be the final step. The kids were always delighted.
