Cover Announcement 

This cover is the first one in a mini-set of four. It emphasizes farm animals and agriculture. An attentive girl holds a young lamb which was a recent arrival at the family farm. A multi-colored rooster displays his fine plumage on a convenient traditional wooden fence. Behind the rooster. a sleek goat struts by with a blue ribbon affixed to its collar. A banner crop of sweet corn provides a perfect backdrop to the whole scene.

This cover and the three that follow take me back to the Newfoundland Firemen's Fair of my youth and teen years. From the days of strawhats and ''down on the farm."
