Gazelle
Cover Announcement
Gazelles are relatively small antelopes standing up to 3.5 feet high at the shoulder. They are very swift and can run in short bursts over 100 miles per hour. They can run at sustained speeds of 30 miles per hour for long lengths of time and long distances. They are found mainly in the grasslands and savannas of Africa, but they are also found in Southwest and Central Asia as well as India. The vast numbers, however, are living in African herds.
My hand painted cachet shows one individual at close range and two bounding in the background. They are the targets of formidable predators - cheetahs, lions, African wild dogs, crocirdiles, hyenas and leopards. This series has resulted in marvelous hand painted cachets of African wildlife. The "run" is relatively small yet, and you might want to consider getting the back ones now. I would be happy to put a set aside for you to guard a sell-out, and you can pay and receive them at one or two per month. You will enjoythis collection.
The Kwanzaa ''Wildlife of the Homeland" - Gazelle in now available. Collins #P6101 at $18.50.
