Sunset Evergreens
Wild Turkeys Forage for Food
A magnificent sunset with a transitional golden sky brings the farm near the culmination of another day. The corn has long since been harvested from the extensive field. The large ears with vivid yellow kernels have been sold at market and the tall, dry stalks cut for animal feed. Only stubs remain for wild turkeys and other forest creatures to visit and search for bits of tasty corn that remain. An outbuilding and shed stand on the field's perimeter. Snow-covered evergreen trees extend into the cachet from those on the stamp. Soon the sunset will descend into twilight which will, in turn, fade into darkness'
