Madam Wu was a Chinese-American scientist who made significant contributions in the fields of nuclear and particle physics. She worked on the Manhattan Project which helped facilitate the end of World War II. She is best known, however, for the "Wu Experiment" which proved that parity is not conserved.


She was awarded the first "Wolf Prize" in Physics in I978. After a prestigious career, her nickname became "First Lady of Physics." My hand painted cachet features the famous scientist and is now available. Collins #K6001 at $16.50.
