1993 ARIZONA

The plains prickly pear wildflower blossom adds a sunburst of color to this MILFORD Cover. A pair of black ducks provide the image on the new stamp and serial numbers used were 3091 to 3290.

A wide open southwest landscape can be glimpsed beyond the green oasis of this hand-painted MILFORD. Front and center are two black ducks swimming in a pool whose surface reflects shoreline plants and also co1ors from the sky. A bed of wildflowers creeping close to the water's edge and a sentinel-like heron bring added life to this tree lined, grassy knoll.
