1993 VERMONT

An explosion of autumn foliage provides the backdrop for this hand-painted MILFORD. Two ma1e mallards are in full flight while behind them a white-tail deer buck sprints through the faII New England forest. There were 140 covers produced for this issue and the five dollar duck stamp and the Jacob's ladder wildflower stamp are canceled at Putney, Vermont.
